I am truly very pleased to announce that the Association for Recorded Sound Collections awarded Patricia Schroeder the 2005 Certificate of Merit for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound–Best Research in Recorded Blues–for her latest book, Robert Johnson: Mythmaking and Contemporary American Culture
Patricia Schroeder is my utterly fabulous sister. She is a professor of English at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. Go Patti!
