Podcast: About Focus And Genius
As part of her Fireside Chats About Management and Leadership series of podcasts, Lisa Haneberg and I talked with one another about how her “focus on focus” relates to discovering your genius. The series of chats is in honor of Lisa’s terrific new book and current passion, Focus Like A Laser Beam.
Lisa and I approached our talk as an opportunity to learn from one another. We had a great time doing that. I feel sure that you too will learn and have a great time listening in if you are interested in doing what matters most, what Lisa calls focusing, or in coming to terms with your own genius.

It was great listening to the podcast. I really liked the examples you gave- especially the one of the maintenance guy.
Lisa and you came up with some really good synthesis of what focus and bringing the self to the job can do together.

Thanks Astha. I like that example too, and use it often. It demonstrates how important it is for everyone in an organization to know the specifics of how their work contributes to the over-all mission of the organization.
