Trumpeting Today
Don Blohowiak does this a lot. He sucks me in with an outrageous statement like, “Pope Benedict is a weenie,” and then he leads me to the meat of what he has to say: “When you truly regret one of your actions, you first take responsibility for it.” (I didn’t intend a pun about weenies and meat, but I’ll let it stand.)

Holy cow, Batman! My recent series about purpose (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) has inspired poetry! See Evolving Ideas from Astha Parmer.
Two of my favorite bloggers–Yvonne DiVita and Phil Gerbyshak–had a talk about Phil’s book at Lip-Sticking. When Yvonne asks, “Tell us 4 things we can do to make today a GREAT day,” Phil responds characteristically: “Only 4?” he says.
…and…Yvonne has a new pet blog at scratchings and sniffings. She started one post with, “Just got back from taking the dog on her daily blog,” so this new venture seems promising!
Chris Owen asks, “Do you have the ‘is that all there is’ blues?” in a remarkably honest and heartfelt post about relationships at Rosa Say’s Talking Story. Well worth a read!

Thanks for the support Dick! It was a wonderful interview with Yvonne. She is a great question asker, and I tried my best to match her with my energy. Fun stuff!
