Great Question #9
…another in a series of questions to ask about your work.
This question is borrowed from Byron Katie, who suggests in her book, Loving What Is, that we examine a thought and ask, “Who would I be without that thought.”
Ordinarily, when considering our work, we ask questions such as, “What would I do without my current work?” Great question #9 adds a twist that makes the question both deeper and broader, asking…
Would I be more peaceful? More compassionate? Bored? Less competitive? Frightened and insecure? Would I suffer ego-deflation? Would I be more generous or courageous?

Wow! I missed the other questions (newbie alert!) from previous posts, and it would seem that I’ve missed a lot! It would seem that I have some homework to do…
Fantastic post (and recap) and thanks for asking!
